THEDES2: NEW MODERN.

All architects have their own style or way of designing. The thing is no one establishes one until he or she is famous. But then I’m sure all of them try to develop on the quality of their building or design. They put in their minds that their architecture would make something in our society. Or simply make our world somewhat better. Reading a full book of manifestos kind of mixed up everything in me. I think what I noticed first is do really architects design for expectations for the society to be developed with full of commercial ties for themselves to be know and promoted or simply being unselfish and realistically doing everything for us the people of the society who sees, wonders and anticipate?
Architects with their manifestos are clearly convinced that what they carry is how they discern or perceive their education and influence. Their design theories, style and process have been the outcome of the world’s social and technological changes. Depending on these two reasons are specified with modernization, industrialization, reconstruction and social movement and production.
It’s hard to interpret most of the manifestos stated by iconic architects yet words were also reflected on their works that made me easily understand the context on how they work. Geometrical formations by Daniel Libeskind caught emotions of people. Experiencing the good and bad is a mark said by him. An interesting part of him is how he related his love in music in architecture. For him creativity on both fields falls on the same ground. Obscure understanding on reasoning is an important thing according to Libeskind. From small ideas to the bigger picture, a way of Peter Eisenman. Eisenman’s manifesto reflected on his deconstructivism style further. A style, which the modern architecture commonly used.Modernisim in which Peter Eisenman stated as a development in Functionalism.RemKoolhaas wrote about Manhattan and his opinions. He told about how it changed his life into levels. He also mentioned on its it effect on the cultural urbanism of New York. Bernard Tschumi highlighted a different perspective of architecture. It proposes a a concentration on perceiving the concept and the experience on a certain architecture. Purpose and details comes on second forth. A very interesting part of Tschumi is on how he related architecture on human ideology and dreams. For him architecture can be a tool on satisfying the desire and feelings of the people. According to Tschumi it cannot take place in how detailed our dream is yet it can be a way on somehow reaching it with limitations. Coop Himmelblau has a vision of mostly every architect. He related architecture of the present to seen on the future. He pointed out on today’s perpective will relate tomorrow’s subject. Like the other architects he considered the aesthetics that is mounted on architecture inspite the modernization in the real world. Zaha Hadid is the architect that most interests me. She related on her manifesto the way of being unique and peculiar. She bumped in her style into her logic and aesthetics versus the the approximate architecture that mostly architects of today do. Zaha also stated the modernization on her 89 degrees. On developing her style in a different way and relating and developing it to the modern world.

Today architects consider the commercial and market side of the situation. They produce their ideas out of the present picture. Developing their style and marks has been easy for those who have established it first. But then starting or creating yet needs a lot of work. Architecture manifestos, has been a word for the star architects, that’s just an observation though. But then there are a lot of prospective manifestos that needs to be seen.

A manifesto, as I search the world in the dictionary, is supposed to change the course of society in a mission statement or program. Yes, most of the influential architects of today declare every part on what they believe in. Greatly it turns out to produce the word influence and admiration. So do manifestos of today a product of every individual mind? Ideology and principles to individualism? I am to discover further.
